Ralph Lansing Drennen, 79, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Heritage Hall.

He was born December 5, 1928 in Saxman, West Virginia, a son of the late Maynard F. and Callie Gertrude Price Drennen.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #76, Summersville, West Virginia and the American Legion, Buena Vista.

Mr. Drennen was a park ranger for the city of Buena Vista.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Jean Drennen; three daughters; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Willa Jean O'Del, Richwood, West Virginia.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Butch Grow and Rev. Russ Barb officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by the dispatchment from Ft. Lee Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Mausoleum.
