Leonard Winslow Lynn, 95, of Buena Vista, died Monday, March 31, 2008 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.
He was born August 20, 1912 in Buena Vista, son of the late Joseph L. and Rosa Tompson Lynn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: J. P. Lynn and Frank White.
He was a member of the First Brethren Church, Buena Vista, and was retired from Bernson Silk Mill.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Tomlin Lynn; a daughter, Carroll Coffey and husband, William, Buena Vista; two sons: Frederick Lynn and wife, Gladys, and Marshall Clyde Lynn and wife, Sue, Buena Vista; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Becker officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
