Burlington Retiree Was Active In Lauderdale ARP Church

Betty Linkenhoker Lotts, 72, of Lexington, died Monday, April 21, 2008.

She was born July 10, 1935 to the late James and Myrtle Linkenhoker of Buchanan, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin L. Lotts; three brothers: James, Lawrence and Kenneth Linkenhoker; two sisters: Shirley Blackburn and Thelma Knick.

Mrs. Lotts was a member of the Lauderdale ARP Church and was active in the Flora Halliday Circle.

She was retired from Burlington Industries after 28 years of service.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Franklin L. Lotts; a daugther, Karen L. Grimm and husband, Blair, of Roanoke; three granddaughters; four sisters: June Cash, Faye Williams, Joyce Austin of Buchanan and Evelyn Newell of Lexington; one brother, Larry Linkenhoker of Buchanan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Dr. James D. Graves, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
