Frank Aldridge, 64, of Lexington, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born February 1, 1944 in Botetourt County, a son of the late Oscar Correll and Pauline Elizabeth Aldridge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joe Bryant.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia S. Aldridge; five children, Elizabeth Aldridge and Sean Carter, Lexington, VA, Christine (Bryant) Sprouse, Stuarts Draft, Jenny Bryant and Kevin Bryant, KY; brothers and sisters, Calvin Bryant, Leona Bryant, Doris Hatcher, Carol Pelter, and Charlotte Johnson; and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to 22 Lilac Lane, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
