Betty Entsminger Plogger, 73, of Lexington, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at her home.

She was born May 13, 1934 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas Entsminger and Ruth Knick Entsminger.

She was a cosmotologist at George's Hairstylist and a member of the Lauderdale ARP Church, SHARPS, and The Flora Halliday Circle.

Mrs. Plogger was preceded in death by her husband, Graham Seebert Plogger.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cheryl Plogger of Harrisonburg, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Entsminger of Lexington, Va; two grandchildren: Kiel Graham Plogger and Hayden Lloyd Plogger, both of Harrisonburg, VA.

A commital service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at The Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. in The Lauderdale ARP Church with Dr. James Graves officiating.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Lauderdale ARP Church, 300 S. Main Street, Lexington, Va 24450 or The Rockbridge SPCA, 10 Animal Place, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
