Rachel Lilly Floyd, 67, of Buena Vista, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at her residence.

She was born January 26, 1941 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late James and Florence Clark Lilly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Floyd; two sons: Michael D. Floyd and wife, Brenda of Buena Vista and Darren L. Floyd and wife, Melissa, Troutville; a daughter, Stephanie O'Neal and husband, Mark of Buena Vista; a brother, Bobby Lilly and wife, Chrysteen of Buena Vista; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ben Sanders officiating. Burial followed in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 6-8 on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
