Bonnie Jarvis Slough, 74, of Vienna, VA, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008.

She was born July 9, 1934 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Herman Lee Jarvis and Gertrude Hanks Jarvis; raised by Albert Payne Wolfe and Clayton Irene Wolfe.

Mrs. Slough was a member of Vienna Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Southern Seminary Junior College.

Surviving are her husband, Clifton Dwight Slough (class of 55 Virginia Military Institute); a daughter, Stephanie Elaine Slough, of Vienna; a son, Clifton Christopher Slough, of Arlington; and a brother, Eddie Lee Jarvis, of Charlotte, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brian Weger officiating. Burial will follow in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
