Obituary for Cheryl Virginia "Cheri" Campbell Cheryl Virginia "Cheri" Campbell
Wal-Mart Cashier Dies At Age 41

Cheryl Virginia "Cheri" Campbell, 41 of 5930 North Lee Highway, Fairfield and formerly of Staunton, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at her residence.

She was born November 5, 1966 a daughter of Thomas Nelson "Tommy" Obaugh and Susan (Baugher) Obaugh.

"Cheri" was employed at Wal-Mart as a cashier.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baugher and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Obaugh, Sr.

In addition to her mother of Staunton and father of Buchanan, survivors include her husband, Fred Charlot of Fairfield; two sons Christopher Allen "Chris" Helmick of Staunton and Jason Scott Helmick of Fairfield. She also leaves behind her beloved special pets Angel and Cujo.

Active pallbearers will be Jeff Culp, Scott Baugher, Jake Shuey, Wes Ingram, Francis Miller, Jim Printy, Wayne Montgomery, and Dwight Botkin, Sr.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2008 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Don Cash. Burial will follow in the Thornrose Cemetery.

The family received friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home and the residence of her mother, Mrs. Susan Obaugh, 749 Hillcrest Drive, Staunton at other times.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of the arrangements.
