Ora Belle ('Tootsie'; 'Patsy') Huffman, 84, of Natural Bridge, died Monday, August 4, 2008.

She was born January 4, 1924 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Grigsby Paxton Huffman and Cora Bell Powell Huffman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Lawrence E. Huffman and Marvin Huffman; and a sister, Mildred H. Perkins.

Miss Huffman was retired from Burlington Industries, Lees Carpet Division, after over 40 years of service.

Surviving are five nieces: Dixie Melquist, Fairfax; Wanda Manuel, Roanoke; Sharon Rusche, St. Petersburg, FL; Patricia Bell, San Leandro, CA; and Linda Ward, Columbus, OH.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Natural Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, 5705 S. Lee Highway, Natural Bridge, VA. 24578 or the Natural Bridge Baptist Church, Belltower Lane, Natural Bridge, VA 24578.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
