Louise Jenkins Lynn, 94, of Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008.

She was born April 26, 1914 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late bill and Lucinda Madison Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Joyce Peak Lynn; two sisters and one brother.

surviving are one son, Pete Lynn; a sister, Dorothy Goolsby and husband, Rodney; several nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted wife, mother, Jehovah's witness and friend to anybody who needed one. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, Buena Vista, Virginia.
