Phoebe Ellen Hall Dudley, 92, of Rockbridge Baths, Virginia, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Kendal of Lexington.

She was born April 18, 1916 in Rockbridge County, the daughter of Henry Ashby Hall and Annie Frances Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by William L. Dudley (husband) and three brothers, Orie, Morrison and Harrison Hall.

Surviving are her three children: Lewis C. Dudley of Rockbridge Baths; Thomas L. Dudley of Lexington; and Doris M. Hanger of Orange, Virginia; also eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dudley was a homemaker and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Rockbridge Baths, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 by the Reverend Ray Tucker at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
