Cammie Divers Ramsey, 94, of Lexington, died Friday, November 7, 2008 in Heritage Hall.

She was born May 16, 1914 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Henry Burch Steele and Nannie Belle Grant Steele.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Ramsey; two sons, Alus Clyde Ramsey and Ibry Dale Ramsey; three sisters and one brother.

Surviving are a daughter, Sylvia J. McCormick, of Lexington; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
