Joyce Watts Rowsey, 85, of Richmond, formerly of Buena Vista, peacefully left us and joined God, Tuesday, November 18, 2008.

She was born August 27, 1923, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Thomas Craton Watts and Anna Mae Putnam Watts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles Mayo Rowsey.

Surving are a daughter, Lucy R. Dalton and husband, Michael, of Richmond, who will miss her very much.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Amy & Charles Millhiser, II, Memorial Hospice Fund.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2008 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
