Army Veteran Served In The Korean Conflict

Joseph "Joe" Preston Wills, 75, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008.

He was born January 3, 1933 in Buena Vista, a son of the late Willie P. and Hannah Sorrells Wills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Willie E. Wills and an infant daughter.

He was retired from Burlington Industries with over forty-one years of service.

Mr. Wills was in the U.S. Army, where he served in the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW.

Surviving are his wife of forty-four years, Louise Creamer Wills; two sons: Robert P. Wills of Waynesboro and Jeff L. Wills of Buena Vista; three daughters: Debbie Hall and husband, Gerry of Shenandoah; Linda K. Wills of Buena Vista; and Melissa G. Wlls of Lexington; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. David Bain officiatinjg. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardents with military rites. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
