Alleghany Native Dies At Age 63

Michael Winfred Angle, 63, of 21658 Botetourt Road, Eagle Rock, died Sunday morning, November 30, 2008 in Alleghany Regional Hospital at Low Moor.

Mr. Angle was born March 25, 1945 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Winfred "Doodle" Angle and Mary Grzyb Angle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Angle and Robert "June" Angle and one sister, Nellie "Sis" Honaker.

Surviving are his Wife of 41 years, Juanita Armentrout Angle of Eagle Rock; two daughters, Leslie Hepner and her friend, Chris Buckman of Reading, PA, and Kelly Tyree and her Husband, Eric, of Clifton Forge; one granddaughter, Lindsey Tyree of Clifton Forge; four brothers: Joe Angle and John Angle, both of Low Moor; Melvin Angle and his wife, Ann, of Clarksville, TN; and Lee Roy Angle and his wife, Carol Ann of Clifton Forge; five sisters: Stella Cale; and Debbie Dolan and her husband, Mike; and Patsy Cale and her husband, Donnie, all of Covington; Catherine Higgins and her husband, Eddie, of Clifton Forge, and Alice Mirando and her husband, Mark, of Centerville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Angle's body has been cremated.
