Alice Kathleen Conner, 68, of Lexington, died Monday, December 15, 2008.

She was born June 4, 1940 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late James Erby Conner and Dorothy Virginia Johns.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children: Johnny Ray Conner, Larry Dean Conner, and Brenda Earleen Conner.

Surviving are four children: Pamela J. Clark, Janet C. Brown, David R. Conner and Carlton (Cricket) McCormick, all of Lexington; three sisters: Mary Mutispaugh of GA; Gracie Hostetter and Mildred Wade, both of Lexington; one brother, Billy Conner of Lexington; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sebby Volpe officiating. Burial will be private.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington, Virginia.
