Roanoke Native Dies In White Sulphur Springs

Hazel Wills Brugh, 77, of 106 Waller Avenue, Covington, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in the White Sulphur Springs Center at White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Mrs. Brugh was born November 29, 1931 in Roanoke, a daughter of the late Abner and Annie Mae Henderson Wills.

Surviving are her long time companion, Ray Wright of Covington; her daughter, Sharon Brugh of Roanoke; three sons: Stuart Brugh of White Sulphur Springs, WV; Jeff Brugh and his wife, Mary Beth, of Richmond; and Larry Brugh of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren: Adona Baker of Covington; Cherilyn Colbert, Shaun Mundy and Courtney Mundy, all of Roanoke, Elizabeth Brugh, Lori Brugh and Zach Brugh, all of Atlanta, GA; Brandon Bougades of Fort Campbell, KY; Claire Brugh and Abby Brugh of Richmond; and four great grandchildren: Lizzie Baker and Tyler Baker of Covington; and Sierra Colbert and Harris Colbert of Roanoke.

The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home.

Interment will be made in the Daleville Cemetery at Daleville.

Friends may pay their respects at anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends for one hour prior to servicetime on Sunday at Arritt Funeral Home.
