Patty Marie Mays Bragg, 72, of Cape Carteret, North Carolina died Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City, NC.

Mrs. Bragg was born in Lexington to the late Theodore R. and Hazel Reynolds Mays.

A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Saint Mildred Catholic Church in Swansboro, NC with Reverend Don Baribeau officiating. Entombment will follow at Seaside Memorial park in Swansboro, NC.

Surviving are Patty's husband, Doctor Frank L. Bragg Sr. of the home; children: Frank L. Bragg Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, of Newell, WV; Mary Beth Daas and her husband, Reilly of Newport, NC: T. R. Bragg and his wife, Shannon Bragg of Vero Beach, FL: and David Bragg and his wife, Christy of Peletier, NC; eight grandchildren: Kelly Rae Bragg, Derek Bragg, Chelsea Bragg, Caitlyn Daas, Robert Daas, Logan Bragg, Morgan Bragg and Braxton Bragg; one great grandchild, Brenden Bragg; an uncle, James Mays of Tampa, FL.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro.
