Shirley Camden Hamilton, 71, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born March 3, 1937 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Warren Camden and Annie Fitzgerald Camden.

She was a member of First Brethren Church and was retired from PainterŐs Space Print.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Hamilton; daughters: Sharon Hamilton and companion, Buddy Beverly of Buena Vista, Sandy Breeden and companion, Randy Brooks of Glasgow, and Shiela McCurry and husband, Roger of Buena Vista; sons: Carl (Cricket) Hamilton, Jr. and companion, Donna Saunders of Glasgow and Clyde Hamilton and wife, Kaye of Lexington; ex son-in-law, Danny Breeden; two brothers: Mutt Camden, Henry Camden and wife, Grace of Buena Vista; ten grandchildren: Michelle, Josh, John, Ashley, Jessica, Audrey, Brooke, Joanna, Tyler and David; one great grandchild, Kobey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Christian Becker officiating.

Burial will follow in Falling Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
