Romalda Floyd Fix, 70, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Kendal.

She was born December 8, 1938 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late William Edward Floyd and Grace Neice Floyd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Decker Ree Fix, Jr., and a sister, Juanita Floyd Pysell.

Surviving are a son, Eric Fix; two daughters: Emilie Staton and husband, Danny, and Tiffany Ramsey and husband, Chris; a sister, Carol Floyd Lewis; four grandchildren: D. J. Staton, Timmy Staton, Casey Fix and Tanner Fix; special best friends: Peggy and David McCormick.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Barton Helmmuth, Rev. Carl Tinsley and Rev. Kris Peaden officiating.
