Cheryl Bernadette Brown, age 46, of 1700 Main Street, Mountain View Apartments, Clifton Forge, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.

She was born May 27, 1962 in Wilmington, Delaware, a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Garner Brown.

She was a private sitter who also worked in food service at The Golden Living Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Brown.

She is survived by a daughter, Bernadette Brown, and a son, Eric Brown, both of Lynchburg; two sisters: Karen Garner of Lynchburg and Joan Garner of Norfolk; her significant other, Charlotte Elaine Snead of Low Moor; four god children: Quintero Snead, Cedric Snead, Corderro Snead, and Madeline Snead, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes, her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, is handling the arrangements.
