Clifton Forge Native Was Upworth United Methodist Church Member

Florence Loretta Creamer Hanberg, age 63, of Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Tazewell, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Tazewell Community Hospital in Tazewell.

She was born February 1, 1945 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, a daughter of the late Ray and Lillian Tolley Creamer.

She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Carla Hanberg and Leslie Kohlman and husband, Ed, all of Canada; three sisters: Rachel Higgins of Ohio, Shirley Adams of Pennsylvania, and Geneva Jones of Selma; three brothers: Clarence H. Creamer and wife, Charlene of Tennessee, Emmett W. Shaffer and wife, Beckey of Pennsylvania, and Charles L. Shaffer and wife, Kim Su of Oregon; three grandchildren: Emily, Shane, and Charlie, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor, with Reverend Charlie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Via, Chuck Harlow, Jack Harlow, Alan Dale Craft, Randy Downey, and other family and friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, before proceeding on to Alleghany Memorial Park.
