Obituary for Ann Harriet Baldwin Ann Harriet Baldwin
Vermont Native Had Long Battle With Cancer

Ann Harriet Baldwin, 71, of Raphine, died at home, Thursday, January 22, 2009 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born at home in Ferrisburg, VT, on June 17, 1937, a daughter of the late Clarinda and Henry Langeway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Baldwin and a son, William "Billy" A. Baldwin.

Surviving is her partner of many years, Kenneth M. Drew of Raphine; her daughter, Barbara Stevens of Raphine; three granddaughters: Rebecca Wilder of Greenville, Carissa Hartless and Meghan Clements of Fairfield; six great grandsons: Dustin and Ashton Earhart, Joseph and Anthony Wilder, Greenville, Hunter Hartless and Richard Clements III; and one great granddaughter, Savannah Clements of Fairfield; a brother, Alan Langeway of Ferrisburg, VT; two nieces, Kate Collins of Lincoln and Beth McAllister of Ferrisburg; two great nephews, Hunter and Owen Collins of Lincoln and Clarinda and Faith McAllister of Ferrisburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2009 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Joseph D'Aurora officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, VA. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
