James Robert Miller, 87 of Lexington, died Friday, January 30, 2009.
He was born March 4, 1921 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Edward Miller and Alice Virginia Broughman Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Virginia Fix Miller.
He was the last surviving member of his family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sonny Wilhelm and Rev. Lewis McDaniel officiating.
Burial will follow in the Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy.
The family will receive friends from 2 - 3 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
