Virginia Simonton Keatley, 90, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the home of her daughter, 1417 McAllister Drive, Covington, Virginia.

She was born August 10, 1918 in Corning, Ohio a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Bessie Miller Simonton.

Mrs. Keatley was preceded in death by her husband, James Keatley in 1999, and also by four sisters and one brother.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Roger Clonch of Covington; one grandson, Shane and wife, Christine Clonch of Eagle Rock; three great grandchildren: Sierra Clonch, Autumn Clonch and River Clonch, all of Eagle Rock.

The funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday morning, February 20, 2009 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home and at other times at her daughter and son-in-law's home, Betty and Roger Clonch, 1417 McAllister Drive, Covington.
