Lana Kay Fridley Epperson, 53, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died there Saturday, February 28, 2009.

She was born October 29, 1953 in Covington, a daughter of Olanta Fridley of Covington and Janet Blankenship Griffith of Anacoco, Louisiana.

Mrs. Epperson was preceded in death by two children, Amy Wagner and Michelle Bowling.

Surviving are two daughters, Kasey Epperson of Pine Bluff, AR and Shelby Williams and her husband, Jr. of Hindsville, AR; one son, Dustin Epperson and his wife, Maria of Russellville, AR; one grandson, Anthony Griffith of Anacoco, LA ; one brother, Michael Fridley and his wife, Debbie of Anacoco, LA; step mother, Dianne Fridley of Covington; step father, John Griffith of Anacoco, LA ; step brother, Jamie and Tammy Carter of Covington and one step sister, Kelly Clark and her husband, Joel of Appomattox; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday , March 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grace Brethren Church with the Rev. Dan Gillette officiating.

The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Va., will be handling the arrangements.
