Lucille "Pete" Coleman Nichols, 81, of Glasgow, died Saturday, March 7, 2009.

She was born July 8, 1927, daughter of the late Elmer Coleman and Lue Stinnett Coleman.

She was a member of the Big Island Baptist Church.

Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Nichols; a sister, Gladys Coleman McClung.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat Goff of New York; two sons: Michael Dennis Nichols of Richmond; and Jerry Randal Nichols of Coleman Falls; one brother, Elmer "Jimmy" Coleman of Buena Vista; two sisters: Geraldine Lawrence of Lexington and Helen Coleman Davis of Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bryon LePere officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
