Helen Marie Cox Donald, 90, of Lexington, died Friday, March 13, 2009 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

For the past eight years, she was a resident of Loyalton of Staunton.

She was born October 7, 1918 in Spottswood, a daughter of the late Raleigh W. Cox and Geneva Cox Earhart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace S. Donald and a brother, William E. Cox.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Burton and husband, Bobby of Richmond, Mildred Tetlow and husband, Danny of Roanoke, Brenda Clark and husband, Allen, of Buena Vista; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 3 - 5 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
