Vivian Kaye Brugh Stockton, 63, of Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter C. Brugh Sr.

Ms. Stockton grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, graduated from Patrick Henry high School and attended Virginia Southern College.

Kaye had the great fortune of living in many locations during the course of her life, enjoying such places as New Orleans, Louisiana; and Richmond and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She is survived by her son, Todd Stockton and wife, Kimberly of Richmond; one granddaughter; her mother, Doris Blake Brugh of Roanoke; two brothers, Walter Costello Brugh, Jr. of Roanoke, Steven Blake Brugh and wife, Debra of Forest; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Cave Spring Baptist Church in Roanoke on Thursday, April 2 at 2 p.m., and at Calvary Brethren Church in Buena Vista on Saturday, April 11 at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Calvary Brethren Church of Buena Vista or the Buena Vista Rescue Squad.
