Obituary for Mary Staton McFaddin Mary Staton McFaddin
County Native Was Glasgow Resident

Mary Staton McFaddin, 97, of Glasgow, died Monday, March 30, 2009.

She was born March 31, 1911 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Alfred Hamilton Staton and Mary Elizabeth Huffman Staton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence McFaddin; a son, William Paxton McFaddin, and a brother, David W. Staton.

Mrs. McFaddin was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are three daughters: Judith Elaine McFaddin, Mary Frances Ritzman, both of Lynchburg, and Belinda Gail McFaddin of Tennessee.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Falling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Weger officiating. There will be no public viewing at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by HarrisonŐs Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
