Brenda Emore Hatcher, 64, of Lexington died April 10, 2009.

She was born August 11, 1944 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Herbert Lee Emore and Frances Warren Emore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Potter and a brother, Michael Emore.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa H. Suthers and husband, David, and Kim Branche and husband, Chris; two brothers, Jimmy Emore and wife, Bette, and Johnny Emore and wife, Sandy, all of Glasgow; four grandchildren,: Chastity Hatcher, Devonta and Christiana Branche and D. J. Austin; one great grandchild, Cameron Youncofski.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory Lexington, VA.
