Obituary for Lola Selleck Aycock Lola Selleck Aycock
Worked With Adams Construction Co. and H&R Block

Lola Selleck Aycock, 53, of 212 E. Beech Street, Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

She was born March 13, 1956 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the Lorraine Hedrick Selleck of Covington and the late Charles Wilbur "Billy" Selleck.

Ms. Aycock was employed as a Truck Driver with Adams Construction and also was employed with H & R Block. She was a member of the American Tax Association.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son in law, Daniel Christian.

Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, George L. Aycock of Covington; two daughters, Crystal Christian and Tonja Paxton and her fiance Greg Carroll, all of Covington; four grandchildren: P.J. Booze, Harry Christian, Jonah Carroll, and Noah Carroll, all of Covington; one brother, Phillip Selleck and his wife, Phyllis of Covington; and a nephew, John Selleck and his wife, Crystal of Covington.

In keeping with Lola's wishes, her body has been cremated.

The family will receive their friends anytime at her mother's home at 309 Montgomery Knob Road, Covington, Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by the Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.
