Irene Huffman Cash, 69, of Buena Vista, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 21, 2009.

Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.

She was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Huffman and a daughter, Teresa Gale Cash.

Surviving are her mother, Lula Huffman; loving husband of 52 years, William Cash; two sons, Jeffrey Dale Cash and Darrell Ray Cash and companion, Cissy; daughter, Heather Cash Madison and husband, Frankie; four grandchildren: SongMi Cash, John Cash and wife, Ronda, Raychel Mason and Benjamin Madison; great grandchildren: Brandon and Shayna Cash and Caleb and Caden Mason; a sister, Betty Gilliam and husband, Richard; a brother, Joey Huffman, all of Buena Vista; SongMi and John's mother, Ina Chong, a beloved family member of Houston, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. W. A. Mills and Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.
