Obituary for Claude Albert Mohler Claude Albert Mohler
NB Station Resident Was Retired VDOT Equipment Operator

Claude Albert Mohler, 66, of Natural Bridge Station died Wednesday April 22, 2009.

He was born August 2, 1942 in Amherst County, a son of the late Albert Terry and Rena Fitzgerald Terry.

He worked for Lee Carpets for many years and retired with 16 years service from VDOT as an equipment operator.

Surviving are his children, Alvin Mohler and wife, Delsie, Ellie Sue Lemons and husband, Charles, all of Natural Bridge Station; Serina Mohler and companion, Allen Hostetter, Natural Bridge; four step children of Natural Bridge Station; four brothers: Todd Mohler and wife, Doris, Pete Mohler and wife, Dottie, of Buena Vista; a sister, Mary Jane Stanley and husband, George, of Glasgow; two half brothers, Willard Terry and Harry Terry, of Buena Vista; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a dear friend, Peggy Jane Powell of Natural Bridge Station; and a faithful canine friend, Spook.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Chapel, Lexington, with Rev. Doug Milliner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
