Richard Lee "Ricky" Fitzgerald, 55, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Augusta Medical Center.

He was born September 17, 1953 in Lexington, son of Virginia Fitzgerald.

He was a member of the Grace Chapel in Buena Vista.

Mr. Fitzgerald was a truck driver for Edwards Trucking for many years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Fitzgrald and Bridgette Fitzgerald Belcher, both of Buena Vista; two sisters: Dianne Whorley and Deborah Hostetter, both of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Macey Duff, Blake Fitzgerald and Cheyenne Belcher.

Funeral services will be conducted a 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Butch Grow officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.
