Ralph Taylor Henson Jr., 58, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his caring and loving family.

Mr. Henson was born on February 17, 1951 in Buena Vista, the son of the late Ralph Taylor Henson Sr. and Dollie Mae Campbell Henson.

He worked for Bontex for 37 years.

Mr. Henson was preceded in deah by two half brothers, James Moore, Richard Campbell Sr. and a half sister, Delores Humphries.

Mr. Henson is survived by his wife, Alice M. Henson of Buena Vista; a son, Scott Henson and wife, Sarah of Buena Vista; two half brothers, Oliver Moore and Kenneth Moore; three sisters: Patricia Walker, Brenda Austin and Linda Deyton; a special brother-in-law, Bobby Humphries; and many other loving family members.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Bradley and great friend, Thomas Longenecker officating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemtery. The family invites friends and family to gather after the burial at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to celebrate Ralph's life. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
