John Myers Worley, 81, of Natural Bridge, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born December 30, 1927 in Greenlee, VA, a son of the late William Myers Worley and Frances Branch Worley.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Roberts Worley; children, Rita McKinney of Fairfax, Lorene Allen of Natural Bridge Station, Kathryn (Candy) Brown of Petersburg, Terry Worley, of Hopewell, Wesley Worley of Prince George, Brenda L. Dotson of Clintwood, VA, Joan McCallister of Buena Vista and James Campbell of Waynesboro; siblings, Gilberetta Carter of Greenville, Nellie Frances Hill of Natural Bridge Station, Connie Henson of Natural Bridge and Larry Worley of Stuarts Draft; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sonny Wilhelm officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
