Obituary for Wallace Jackson Clark Wallace Jackson Clark
County Native Dies At Age 69

Wallace Jackson Clark, 69, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Augusta Medical Center.

He was born May 20, 1940 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Clinton and Agnes Mayes Clark.

He was preceded in death by brothers Jim and Jack and sisters, Wandy and Jane and a son.

Surviving are his children: Robin, Clay and his wife, Tresa. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Junia and her children, Scott, Eric, Cindy and husband, Robert Nuckoles.

In addition, he is survived by his former wife, Jean Clark.

He also left behind three granddaughters: Jennifer, Angela and Michelle, and was "PawPaw" to Katelyn Nuckoles, and siblings Tom, Luke and wife, Debbie, J. D. and wife, Lisa, and Bertie and husband, Doug Sorrells.

He is survived by one aunt, Effie Mayes.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Irish Creek Cemetery. The family would like to thank family and friends who have been there in his last months helping out and bringing joy and laughter to his life. Also special thanks to the nurses and doctors at AMC and his family doctor and staff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AHC HOpe Cancer Center.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
