Daniel Aaron Livick, age 23, of 3526 Kanawha Trail, Covington, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 in Philadelphia, PA.

Born August 13, 1985 in Lynchburg, Virginia, Daniel was a son of Barbara Martin and the late Harry Jay Livick.

He was a member of Covington Bible Church, recently completed two years at the Word of Life Institute in Schroon Lake, NY, and was currently attending Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, PA.

He enjoyed serving the Lord and witnessing to others.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Harry and Francis Livick, and Hubert and Christine Martin.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Martin of Concord, a special uncle and aunt with whom he made his home, Ray and Sue Livick of Covington, other special aunts and uncles, Kay and David Collier of Ruckersville and May and Jamie Kiser of Ironto, and a number of cousins.

A funeral service was conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Covington Bible Church with Pastor Howard Merrell officiating. Interment followed in Calvary Memorial Cemetery in Millboro Springs. Pallbearers were John Ryan, Kim Jones, Bryan Gingerich, Jim Taylor, Frank Haynes, Curtis Smith, Ottmer Newcomb, and Cameron Smith.

The family received friends on Friday evening at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge and will at other times at the residence of Ray and Sue Livick, 3526 Kanawha Trail, Covington.
