Joseph "Ian" Baird, two years old, of 394 Craig Creek Rd, Eagle Rock, Virginia, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.

Ian was born October 24, 2006 in Roanoke, Virginia, to Allen "Bruce" Baird, Jr. and Crystal Morris Baird of Eagle Rock.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Justin Baird and Austin Morris; maternal grandparents, Linda and Joseph "Joe" Morris; paternal grandmother, Susan Moore Baird; maternal great grandparents, Bob and Ada Fisher, and Hattie B. Morris; four aunts, four uncles, a special friend, Emily Kendig, and many other relatives and close family friends.

He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Allen B. Baird, Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Jeff Riley officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the Nicely Funeral Home.
