Linda Jane Snead Plogger, 66, of Lexington, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in the Lewis Gale Hospital.

She was born December 25, 1942 in Glasgow, the daughter of the late John Everett Snead and Lillian Hickman Snead.

She was a member of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Rockbridge Baths, the Women's Circle of Bethesda, Red Hat Society and the Glasgow/Rockbridge Chapter of the AARP.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Donald Plogger; her children: Felicia Thompson and husband, Bryan of Fredericksburg; Donnie Plogger of Gum Springs, VA; one grandchild, Thad Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Christina Tutterow officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Immediately following the interment, there will be a Memorial Service at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church with a reception in the Fellowship Hall.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
