Michael Eugene Linkenhoker, 43, of 5013 Jackson River Road, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Linkenhoker was born August 30, 1966 in Alleghany County, the son of Thomas E. Linkenhoker Jr. and Barbara Linkenhoker.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Merrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
