Frances Rebecca Reynolds Phillips, 83, of Lexington, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Kendal.

Born May 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Mattie Katherine Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Estelle Phillips.

She was a member of the Bible Church at Rockbridge.

She is survived by her children: Wendell Allan Phillips and Libby Ann Phillips Carter, both of Lexington; a brother, Charles C. Reynolds of Patterson, NJ; four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on September 25, 2009 at the Bible Church at Rockbridge with the Rev. George Warden officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcom to view Mrs. Phillips from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at athe funeral home.
