Obituary for Lelia Frances Martin Bell Lelia Frances Martin Bell
Worked At Maytag Appliance Store For 38 YearsP> Lelia Frances Martin Bell, 77, of 1017 Cliftwood Circle, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the home of her daughter, Debbie Balser.

She was born August 19, 1932 at Back Valley in Monroe County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ray C. and Viola Bostic Martin.

Mrs. Bell was employed at the Maytag Appliance Store in Clifton Forge for 38 years.

She was homemaker and a Caretaker to many people in the area. She was a member of the Selma Epworth United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Denny Bell of Clifton Forge; her daughter, and son-in-law, Debbie and Barry Balser of Clifton Forge; grandchildren who called Mrs. Bell "Meme", Scott Balser and Brad and Priscilla Balser, all of Clifton Forge; special granddaughter, Mary Katherine Monroe; one sister, Ada Tingler of Covington; two brothers, Orville "Jeff" and Esther Martin and Douglas "Duck" and Liz Martin, all of Roanoke; her grand dog, Abbie and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Virgil Woodie officiating.

Friends may pay their respects at Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.
