Clyde Stanford Robinson, Sr., 73, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, in UVA Hospital.

Born February 21, 1936 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Charles Vaughn Robinson and Mary Gladys Hartless Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Mikels.

Surviving are his wife, Lola (Kay) Robinson; two children, Teresa Gail Needham and husband, Christopher, of Winchester, and Clyde S. Robinson, Jr. and wife, Linda, of Taft, TN; grandchildren, Amy Renee Kline, Andrea Michael Needham, Christopher, Kevin, Cameron, and Meagan; great-grandchildren, Serenity Hope Needham, Tristan Kyle Kline and Paul Jeffery Ebersole.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home, Buena Vista, VA.
