Martha (Marci) Elizabeth Royer Nunez, 42, formerly of Buena Vista, passed away peacefully in her sleep from complications with her diabetes Sunday, December 6, 2009.

Born November 30, 1967, the daughter of Bruce and Hilda Royer of Buena Vista.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Norman (Bill) Royer, Julia (Teeny) Royer, Frederick T. Kidd and Martha (Sis) Kidd Burch and a special Great Aunt, Francis Madison.

In addition to her parents, she was survived by her husband, Gil Nunez of Lake of the Ozark, MO; brother, Troy Royer and wife, Amanda; sister, Mitzi Jo Austin and husband, Bill, both of Buena Vista; three nieces, Tiffany R. Royer, Casey and Taylor, all of Buena Vista; aunt and uncle, Nancy and Harold Kidd of Daleville, VA and Jimmy and Julie Royer Ogden of Virginia Beach.

Memorial services will be conducted at the Buena Vista Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Madison and Rev. Roy Thomas officiating at 2 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2009. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
