Rachel Farrow Entsminger, 84, of Lexington, died Friday, December 18, 2009 in The Mayflower.

Born March 26, 1925 in Natural Bridge, she was a daughter of the late Minor Lee Farrow and Grace Lucille Hatcher Farrow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howe Jennings Entsminger.

Mrs. Entsminger was a member of Broad Creek ARP Church.

Surviving are a son, Jennings Lee Entsminger of Quinton, VA; a daughter, Maggie Loduca of Chilhowie; a brother, Joseph C. Farrow of Natural Bridge; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. R. W. Swisher officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
