Pauline Roberta Long, 60, of Lexington, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at her home.
Born December 22, 1949 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Edison A. Long, Sr. and Sally Cooper Long.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kenny.
Surviving, two sons, Gene P. Kenny and Daniel Kenny, both of Jamestown, NY: two daughters. Paulina D. Poindexter and Tammy L. Kenny, both of Lexington, VA; four brothers, William Earl Long, Sr. of Lexington; Clarence Long, Edison A. Long Jr. and Fred Long, all of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Cornelia Long of Richmond, VA; Ruby White of Goldsboro, NC; and Zennia Young of Hopkins Park, IL; three grandchildren, Kayla N. Douglas, Dennis Kenny, Naomi Kenny and Josh Kenny.
A service will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Effinger Volunteer Fire Department 2824 Collierstown Road Lexington, VA 24450. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
