John Gorman Fauber Jr., 53, of Lexington, died Thursday, December 24, 2009.

He was born January 8, 1956 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late John G. Fauber, Sr. and Naldar Mayes Fauber.

He was a member of Stone Church of Brethren.

Surviving are his aunts and uncles, Irene and Guy Carawan of Buena Vista and Ralph and Lorraine Mays, Jr. of Stuarts Draft and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Barton Hellmuth officiating.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Barton Hellmuth officiating.
