Elizabeth Corrinne Fix Barger, 86, of Salem, died Friday January 1, 2010 at Richfield Retirement Community in Salem, VA.

Born April 18, 1923 in Lexington, VA, she was a daughter of the late Howard Alexander Fix and Ellen Corrinne Miller Fix.

Mrs. Barger was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Salem.

Surviving are her sons ,Terry Dean Barger and wife, Elaine of Lynchburg; and Daniel Dewaynne Barger and wife, Sheila of Salem; five Grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loleta Hartbarger of Buena Vista.

Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday January 5, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Barger and Rev. Ivey Adams officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation held from 5-7 pm Monday January 4, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home.
